Brush Care

• Wash gently with warm water and a small amount of castile soap after each use.
• Always dry with bristles facing down so water drains away from the wood and handle joint.
• Condition the wood handle with walnut oil as needed.

Razor Care

• Disassemble and rinse with hot water and dry thoroughly after each use.
• Disinfect the blade with alcohol between uses to prevent rust — avoid getting alcohol on the wood handle.
• Change the blade every 6–10 shaves, depending on technique, passes, and hair thickness.
• Store in a dry place. Oil the handle with walnut oil as needed.
• Replacement blades are standard-fit and available online.

How to Shave

• Cleanse skin and soften hair with a hot, damp cloth before starting.
• Wet the brush and work up a lather directly on the Shaving Bar, then apply to the face in circular motions.
• Hold the razor at a 30° angle to the skin.
• Shave in the direction of hair growth using short, gentle strokes of 1–3 cm.
• Let the weight of the razor do the work — do not press down.
• Pull skin taut as you go to reduce dragging and prevent nicks.
• Take your time. Repeat strokes as needed rather than pressing harder.
